Roberto Battegazzorre is a consultant at the Management inSites office in Italy and has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and its related activities. Throughout his career, Roberto worked in sales and marketing and managed teams of professionals. Prior to collaborating with MI, Roberto held many positions of increasing responsibility including General Manager.

Roberto managed marketing and planning for the entire Fiat Lubrificanti Group, which at the time included eight lubricant companies in Europe and South America in addition to the chemical company Arexons. Roberto spent three years as General Manager of Fiat Lubrificanti Iberica, and has been a member of the Board of Tutela Lubrificantes (Argentina).

As Marketing, Planning, and Development Director at Magneti Marelli Aftermarket, a European leader in automotive component production, Roberto reorganized the commercial sector, launched new product lines, promoted corporate globalization, and introduced an innovative IT based product management system.

Roberto successfully launched six foreign operations for Fiat Lubrificanti and Magneti Marelli. He has also participated in the negotiation and closing of several important international agreements between American and European companies including Siemens, Robert Bosch, Valeo, and Standard Motors.

Roberto has been President of the AMGA (the MBA association in Turin, Italy) and Professor of Marketing Research at the School of Amministazione Aziendale at Turin University. He holds a graduate degree in engineering from Politecnico di Torino, a leading European research university, and has a MBA degree with specialization in marketing from the University of Torino.
